PHASTAR Corp. is pleased to announce that Forest City Realty Trust has selected to partner with their nonprofit organization for Forest City’s “Community Day” volunteer project to occur on May 18, 2018.
Forest City has agreed to provide between 50 and 75 employee volunteers who will come to PHASTAR’s newly acquired headquarters at 1776 Columbus Road in the Cleveland Flats. Volunteers will help to kick-start the renovations process at the new building.
Prior to the May 18th Community Day volunteer project, Forest City will also be lending its architectural and interior design experts to meet with PHASTAR’s design team to weigh in on the design plans for the space.
Forest City was matched with PHASTAR through BVU: The Center for Nonprofit Excellence, an organization that connects corporations with volunteer opportunities and projects. Forest City’s HR Executive Coordinator, Jan Camerato, explained that it is often difficult to find volunteer opportunities that can accommodate a group as large as theirs. The large space and project specifications made the two a great fit.
Both Forest City and PHASTAR will be providing real-time coverage, including photos and videos, of the Community Day event on various social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook.
Renovations at PHASTAR’s new building are expected to continue through the fall, with an anticipated completion date in October 2018.
