Cleveland, Ohio – The health and safety of our employees, volunteers, and visitors is our number one priority, and in light of the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring COVID-19 a pandemic and mandates issued by the Governor of Ohio, PHASTAR has already taken a number of steps to follow guidelines that have been issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to decrease the spread of COVID-19.

PHASTAR is providing hand sanitizer inside of our main entrance, and has posted signage asking that all who enter the building use the hand sanitizer before making their way to the second floor. Throughout the building, we have posted signage reminding people of things that they can do to decrease the spread of COVID-19. We are, at regular intervals and as-needed, disinfecting high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, tables, desks, handrails, work surfaces, etc. to kill germs and ensure that 1776 remains a safe environment for our staff and visitors. Staff and visitors who are feeling ill or who have a sick family member at home are advised to stay home.

Effective March 14, 2020, PHASTAR will be limiting access to our facility at 1776 Columbus Road to staff and pre-approved visitors. Use of the conference rooms is restricted and only permitted with prior authorization. This policy will remain in effect until at least April 5, 2020.

These are unprecedented times, but we are confident that by taking aggressive proactive and protective measures now, PHASTAR can help do its part to delay the rates of transmission, reducing illness and even death from the spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will post any updates on our website at and to our social media accounts.
